'Seriously Ironic: Positions in Turkish Contemporary Art Scene' 28.6.2009 - 30.8.2009, Centre Pasquart - Biel / Switzerland Positions in Turkish Contemporary Art Scene exposition de groupe Vernissage sa 27 06 2009, 17h SERIOUSLY IRONIC présente pour la première fois en Suisse une exposition de groupe consacrée à la scène artistique contemporaine turque. Quatorze artistes turcs établis ou émergents, mais tous représentatifs de cette nouvelle scène, sont invités à cet important événement. La sélection des artistes et des oeuvres reflète des intérêts variés qui comprennent autant des préoccupations sérieuses comme l'histoire personnelle, la recherche d'identité, les questions féministes, environnementales ou politiques, que des approches conceptuelles ou ironiques. A l'occasion de l'exposition, une publication richement illustrée paraît aux éditions Verlag für moderne Kunst Nuremberg en allemand, français et anglais. With the choice of the artists and their works different interests of the artists will be shown: The range is between serious facets, as personal history, search of identity, social, feministic, environmental or political concerns, as well as conceptual visual approaches and bracing irony.
