От 11 до 18 юли в галерия Depoo, София ще бъде представен новият проект на Михаела Лакова, продуциран от Фондация ДА Лаб в рамките на платформата e-valuation 2.0 „Стойност-Ценност". Проект „e-valuation 2.0 (Стойност-Ценност)" се реализира с подкрепата на Столична общинa. Мисията на платформата е стимулиране и продуциране на автори в областта на дигиталните изкуства и тяхното представяне, с цел развитие и популяризиране на съвременни форми на изкуство, създадено с дигитални медии и технологии. Във второто издание на платформата през 2022 бяха селектирани проектите на Михаела Лакова и Петко Танчев, които получават стипендия за продукция и съдействие от екипа на фондация ДА ЛАБ за създаването на новите произведения.  Новите проекти се представят като самостоятелни изложби в софийската галерия Depoo на ул. Врабча 12. "Liminal recollection...between memory and reality" изследва холограми дигитални и аналогови, холограмата е форма на изобразяване, която позволява записването и възпроизвеждането на илюзорни триизмерни образи с помощта на лазерна светлина. Основен принцип на холограмата е „Частта съдържа цялото и цялото се съдържа в Частта". Михаела разглежда холограмата извън добре познатото и комерсиално приложение и как това изразно средство може да служи с художествена цел манипулирайки пространство и образ. Съдържанието на холограмата използва персонализиран аватар, статуи и релефи от древен Египет както и абстрактни образи като естествено продължение на проучването и свързано с изтриването на паметта и damnatio memoriae – латински израз, който в буквалния си превод означава "осъден на забрава". ______________ Михаела Лакова (1987, София) е визуален артист и изследовател, която работи м/у София и Ротердам. Работата й включва видео и инсталации, а темите, които изследва са изтриването и паметта. Завършила е бакалавърска степен по Сценичен и екранен дизайн в НАТФИЗ (2011) и магистърска степен по дизайн и комуникации от Института Пиет Цварт, Ротердам (2014). Заглавието на платформата е препратка към смисъла на понятията "стойност" и "ценност", в техническия и естетически контекст на цифровите медии и изследва възможностите безличните стойности на средата да се трансформират в обществено значими ценности. Търси се какво има значение за авторите, избрали дигиталните форми за артистична изява и как те отговарят на темите и предизвикателствата в „новата нормалност", както наричаме настоящия период на пандемия. *** "Liminal recollection...between memory and reality" Michaela Lakova Opening: 11 July, 19:00 – 21:30 From 11 to 18 July at Depoo Gallery, Sofia will be presented the new project of Michaela Lakova, produced by DA Lab Foundation within the e-valuation 2.0 platform.   The project "e-valuation 2.0" is realized with the support of Sofia Municipality. The mission of the platform is to stimulate and produce artists in the field of digital arts and their presentation, in order to develop and promote contemporary forms of art created with digital media and technologies. In the second edition of the platform in 2022, the projects of Michaela Lakova and Petko Tanchev were selected to receive a production grant and assistance from the DA LAB Foundation team for the creation of the new works. The new projects are presented as solo exhibitions at the Depoo Gallery in Sofia, ul. Vrabcha 12. "Liminal recollection...between memory and reality" explores digital and analog holograms, a hologram is a form of imaging that allows the recording and reproduction of illusory three-dimensional images using laser light. A fundamental principle of the hologram is "The part contains the whole and the whole is contained in the part". Michaela examines the hologram beyond its well-known commercial application and how this means of expression is embodied and translated into the physical space. The content of the hologram uses a personalized avatar, statues and reliefs from ancient Egypt as well as abstract images, аs continuation of the artist's research in erasure of memory and damnatio memoriae - a Latin phrase which means "condemnation of memory". _____________ Michaela Lakova (1987, Sofia) is a visual artist and researcher working between Sofia and Rotterdam. Her work includes video and installations, and the themes she explores are erasure and memory. She holds a BA in Stage and Screen Design from NATFA (2011) and an MA in Design and Communication from the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam (2014). The title of the platform is a reference to the meaning of the concepts of 'value' and 'worth', in the technical and aesthetic context of digital media, and explores the possibilities of transforming impersonal values of the medium into socially relevant values. It seeks to understand what matters to authors who have chosen digital forms for artistic expression and how they respond to the themes and challenges of the "new normal," as we call the current pandemic period.
