COMPETITION FOR DIGITAL IMAGES "ARTE/MUSICA"- ITALY
Updates on the dimensions of the original file
Deadline: April 15 th 2008
Typology: digital images on the theme Art and Music
Call For Art, International Association of artists ( web
page:www.callforart.com) and the Municipality of
Piandiscò (Arezzo) Italy, organize a contest of digital
Images on the theme of "Art and Music."
The contest is open to artists of any nationality. Every
artist can participate with only one image.
The required digital images can be reproductions of
paintings, sketches, drawings, graphic design or photos,
digital manipulations, video still, related to the theme
"Art and Music".
The original file must have the following dimensions:
OPTIMAL: width cm. 100 x height cm. 250, definition: 200 dpi
( width: 7874 Pixels, height: 19685 pixels).
MINIMUM: width cm. 100 x height cm. 250, definition: 50 dpi
( width: 1969 pixels, height: 4921)
The original file must be reduced to be sent by the online
procedure, but every participant will have to keep the
original file.
Among all the reached proposals, a jury nominated by the
Municipality of Piandiscò will select 20 images that will
be printed in format cm. 100 x 250, on polyester support,
mounted as a banner. On the occasion of the Festival
"ArteMusica" that will be held on 12,13,14,15 June 2008 in
the Municipality of Piandiscò, aforesaid images can be
delivered to the families of the town whose residences have
windows, balconies or terraces on the roads interested by
the festival.
The involved families will guarantee the exhibition of the
images outside their window /balconies for all the duration
of the Festival.
The Municipality can, anyway, choose a different way to
publicly exhibit the selected images.
The public of the event through a system of vote active
until the hours 18,00 of the last day will have the
opportunity to vote for the image that prefers. NB. Every
images will be marked by a number so that the vote will be
easier.
The first three images that will receive more votes by the
public will receive the followings prizes:

1 PRIZE:
Euro 1000,00 gross + publication of the image on the
manifestos, brochures and promotional material of the
edition 2009 of the Festival + 1 free year of registration
to the services of Call For Art (see the section "Services"
of the web site www.callforart.com )

2 PRIZE:
Euro 500,00 gross + 1 free year of registration to the
services of Call For Art (see the section "Services" of the
web site www.callforart.com )

3 PRIZE:
Euro 300,00 gross + 1 free year of registration to the
services of Call For Art (see the section "Services" of the
web site www.callforart.com )

The result of the vote will be announced during the last
evening of the Festival before the beginning of the final
concert. The winning artists will be informed in the days
following the closing of the demonstration.
The three winning artists will be paid by money transfer by
the Municipality of Piandiscò, behind presentation of a
receipt.

AIMS OF THE COMPETITION:
The competition has the following objectives:

1. To create an high-level cultural event, with
International/global breath and a local soul, in
concomitance to the festival "Arte/Musica" as integral part
of its activities and as its vehicle of international and
local promotion.
2. To create a thematic set design for the Festival
"Arte/Musica" able to animate and color the streets
interested by the festival .
3. To promote the art and support the artists worldwide with
an event of international character that gives visibility to
their job
4. To actively involve the local families and the public of
the festival.
The families can exhibit the 20 selected images outside
their windows and balconies recalling an ancient local
tradition on the occasion of popular festivals. The public
of the festival will be, instead, actively involved in the
vote of the works and its verdict will determine the final
judgment of the contest.
5. To collect a file of digital images related to the theme
of Art and Music, created by artists of many nationalities
that can be used for the future promotion of the festival
and as material of graphic support.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
For the Call For Art members, the participation to the
competition is free.
For all the other artists – non members, the participation
involves the payment of a registration fee of Euro 15,00(
net, transfer costs at participant's charge) to cover the
management's expenses.

The participation to the competition is open until April 15
th 2008. You have just to send your picture online. Go to
the web page: www.callforart.com click on the section

Before effecting the upload of the image, the Call For art
members will have to insert their codes of access to the web
site, the non members will have to insert the codes
furnished by e-mail after their payment of the registration
fee.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE IMAGE:
The original file of the image, at full format, will have to
have the following dimensions:
OPTIMAL: width cm. 100 x height cm. 250, definition: 200 dpi
( width: 7874 Pixels, height: 19685 pixels).
MINIMUM: width cm. 100 x height cm. 250, definition: 50 dpi
( width: 1969 pixels, height: 4921)

All the artists participating to the competition will have
to preserve the original file in case their image will be
selected for the printing..

To send the image on line, please reduce it with the
following characteristics:
width: 283 pixels or cm. 10
height: 709 pixels or cm. 30
definition: 72 dpi

PROCEDURE OF UPLOAD:
The Call For Art members can immediately proceed to the
upload of their image. Go to the web page:
www.callforart.com click on the section "COMPETITION
ARTE/MUSICA", after on the button "Participate" and
again on the button "GO TU UPLOD".

The artists not members will have to effect the payment of
the registration fee of Euro 15,00 before being able to
proceed with the upload of their image. For details on the

After the payment, you will receive by e-mail the codes of

All the images sent for the participation to the competition

The results of the selections and the final decision of the

RIGHTS OF PUBLICATION
All the participants to the competition agree to permit the
use and publication of their images in case these were
selected among the 20 chosen for the printing. The name of
the author will always be mentioned.

Tipología: imagines digitales sobre el tema de Arte y
Música
Call For Art, Asociación Internacional de artistas,
www.callforart.com y el Ayuntamiento de Piandiscò
(Arezzo) Italia, organizan un concurso de Imágenes
digitales sobre el tema de "Arte y Música."
El concurso es abierto a artistas mayores de edad de
cualquiera nacionalidad. Cada artista podrá participar con
una sola imagen.
Las imágenes digitales solicitadas podrán ser
reproducciones de pinturas, dibujos, gráfica o bien
fotografías, manipulaciones digitales, still de vídeo,
relativos al tema de "Arte y Música."
Dimensiones del expediente original:
OPTIMAL: ancho cm. 100 x altura cm. 250, definición: 200
dpi (ancho: 7874 Pixels, altura:. 19685 pixels).
MINIMO: ancho cm. 100 x altura cm. 250 , definición: 50
dpi (ancho 1969 pixels x altura 4921 pixels).
El expediente tendrá que ser reducido por el envío en
línea pero cada artista participante al concurso es tenido
a conservar también el expediente original.
Entre todas las propuestas llegadas, un jurado nombrado por
el Ayuntamiento de Piandiscò seleccionará 20 imágenes
que serán imprimidas en formado cm. 100 x 250, sobre tela
poliéster en forma de estandarte. Con ocasión del
Festival "ArteMusica" que se tendrá el 12,13,14,15 de
junio de 2008 en el Ayuntamiento de Piandiscò, susodichas
ampliaciones fotográficas podran ser entregadas a las
familias del Ayuntamiento cuyas viviendas tienen ventanas,
balcones o terrazas que se asoman sobre las calles
interesadas por el festival.Las familias implicadas
garantizarán la exposición de las estandartes al
exterior de sus ventanas/balcones por toda la duración del
Festival.
A discreción del Ayuntamiento las estandartes podrán ser
también destinadas a otras modalidades de pública
exposición.
El público de la manifestación tendrá la oportunidad
de votar por la obra que prefiere por un sistema de
votación activo hasta las horas 18,00 del último día.
NB. Cada obra será contraseñada por un número de modo
que hacer más fácil la votación.
Las tres obras que habrán recibido mas votos del público
recibirán los siguientes premios:

1 PREMIO:
Euro 1000,00 brutos + publicación de la imagen sobre
carteles, folletos, material promocional de la edicion 2009
del festival + 1 año gratuito de inscripción a los
servicios de Call For Art (ver la seccion "Servicios" de la
pagina web www.callforart.com )

2 PREMIO:
Euro 500,00 brutos + 1 año gratuito de inscripción a los
servicios de Call For Art (ver la seccion "Servicios" de la
pagina web www.callforart.com )

3 PREMIO:
Euro 300,00 brutos + 1 año gratuito de inscripción a los
servicios de Call For Art (ver la seccion "Servicios" de la
pagina web www.callforart.com )

El resultado de la votación será comunicado durante la
última noche del Festival con anuncio oficial antes del
principio del concierto final. Los artistas vencedores
serán informados del resultado de las selecciones en los
días siguientes el cierre de la manifestación.
Los tres artistas vencedores serán liquidados por giro
bancario de parte de la administración municipal de
Piandiscò, tras presentacion de recibo.

FINALIDADES DEL CONCURSO:
El concurso se propone los siguientes objetivos:

1. crear un acontecimiento cultural de alto nivel, con
aspiración Internacional/global, y un anima local, en
concomitancia al festival de Arte y Música sea como parte
integrante de las actividades de la manifestación que como
su vehículo de promoción internacional y local.
2. crear una escenografia temática para el Festival
"Arte/Musica" capaz de animar y colorear las calles
interesadas por la manifestación con imágenes
pertinentes al tema del festival que serán expuestas en
forma de estandarte de las ventanas y de los balcones.
3. promover el arte y respaldar los artistas a nivel mundial
con un acontecimiento de carácter internacional que dé
visibilidad a su trabajo
4. implicar activamente sea las familias locales que el
público de la manifestación.
Las familias podran hospedar las estandartes fuera de sus
ventanas y balcones volviendo a llamar una antigua
tradición local con ocasión de las fiestas populares. El
público de la manifestación será, en cambio,
activamente implicado en la votación de las obras y su
veredicto determinará el juicio final del concurso.
5. recoger un archivo de imágenes digitales relativas al
tema de Arte/musica creadas por artistas de todo el mundo
que podrán ser utilizadas para la futura promoción del
festival como material de soporte gráfico.

COMO PARTICIPAR:
Para los artistas miembros de Call For Art, la
participación al concurso es gratuita.
Para todos los otros artistas no miembros, la
participación al concurso preve el pago de una cuota de
inscripción de Euro 15,00 (netos, gastos de traslado a
carga del participante) a cobertura de los gastos de
gestión.

Antes de efectuar el upload de la imagen, los miembros de
Call For Art tendrán que insertar sus códigos de acceso,
los no miembros insertarán los códigos enviados por
correo electrónico después del pago de la cuota de
inscripción.

La imagen original, a alta definición, tendrá que tener
las siguientes dimensiones:

luego sobre "UPLOAD IMAGEN" e insertar sus códigos de
acceso.

Los artistas no miembros tendrán que efectuar el pago de
la cuota de inscripción de Euro 15,00 antes de poder

DERECHOS DE PUBLICACIÓN
Todos los participantes al concurso concuerdan en ceder los
derechos al empleo y publicación de sus imágenes en caso
éstas fueran seleccionadas entre las 20 para la impresion.
El nombre del autor serà sempre mencionado.

Call For Art, Associazione Internazionale di artisti,
www.callforart.com ed il Comune di Piandiscò (Arezzo)
Italia, organizzano un concorso di Immagini digitali sul
tema di "Arte e Musica".
Il concorso è aperto ad artisti maggiorenni di qualsiasi
nazionalità. Ogni artista potrà partecipare con una sola
immagine.
Le immagini digitali richieste potranno essere riproduzioni
di pitture, disegni, grafica oppure fotografie,
manipolazioni digitali, still da video, relativi al tema di
"Arte e Musica".
Dimensioni del file originale:
OTTIMALE: larghezza cm. 100 x altezza cm. 250, definizione:
200 dpi (larghezza: 7874 Pixels, altezza:. 19685 pixels).
MINIMO: larghezza cm. 100 x altezza cm. 250 , definizione:
50 dpi (larghezza 1969 pixels x altezza 4921 pixels).
Il file dovrà essere ridotto per l'invio on-line, ma
ogni artista partecipante al concorso è tenuto a
conservare anche il file originale.
Tra tutte le proposte pervenute, una giura formata dal
Comune di Piandiscò selezionerà 20 immagini che saranno
stampate in formato cm. 100 x 250, su tela poliestere a
forma di stendardo. In occasione del Festival
"ArteMusica" che si terrà nei giorni 12, 13, 14 e 15
Giugno 2008 nel Comune di Piandiscò, suddette
gigantografie potranno essere affidate alle famiglie del
Comune le cui abitazioni hanno finestre, balconi o terrazze
che si affacciano sulle strade interessate dal festival.
Le famiglie coinvolte garantiranno l'esposizione degli
stendardi all'esterno delle loro finestre/balconi per
tutta la durata del Festival. A discrezione de Comune gli
stendardi potranno anche essere destinati ad altre
modalità di pubblica esposizione.
Il pubblico fruitore della manifestazione attraverso un
sistema di votazione attivo fino alle ore 18,00
dell'ultimo giorno avrà l'opportunità di votare per
l'opera che preferisce. NB. Ogni opera sarà
contrassegnata da un numero in modo da rendere più agevole
la votazione.
Le prime tre opere che avranno ricevuto maggiori consensi
del pubblico riceveranno i seguenti premi:

1 PREMIO:
Euro 1000,00 lordi + pubblicazione dell'immagine su
manifesti, depliant, materiale promozionale della futura
edizione del festival 2009 + 1 anno gratuito di iscrizione
ai servizi di Call For Art ( vedi sezione"Servizi" del
sito www.callforart.com )

2 PREMIO:
Euro 500,00 lordi + 1 anno gratuito di iscrizione ai
servizi di Call For Art ( vedi sezione"Servizi" del sito
www.callforart.com )

3 PREMIO:
Euro 300,00 lordi + 1 anno gratuito di iscrizione ai
servizi di Call For Art ( vedi sezione"Servizi" del sito
www.callforart.com )

Il risultato della votazione sarà reso noto durante
l'ultima serata del Festival con annuncio ufficiale prima
dell'inizio del concerto finale. Gli artisti vincitori
saranno informati nei giorni seguenti la chiusura della
manifestazione del risultato delle selezioni.
I tre artisti vincitori saranno liquidati tramite bonifico
bancario da parte dell'Amministrazione Comunale Di
Piandiscò dietro presentazione di apposita ricevuta.

FINALITA' DEL CONCORSO:
Il concorso di immagini digitali "Arte e Musica" si
propone i seguenti obiettivi:

1. Creare un evento culturale di alto livello, con respiro
Internazionale/globale, e un anima locale, in concomitanza
al festival di Arte e Musica sia come parte integrante delle
attività della manifestazione che come suo veicolo di
promozione internazionale e locale.
2. Creare una scenografica tematica per il Festival
"Arte/Musica" in grado di animare e colorare le vie
interessate dalla manifestazione con immagini attinenti al
tema del festival che saranno esposte in forma di stendardo
dalle finestre e dai balconi.
3. Promuovere l'Arte e supportare gli artisti a livello
mondiale con un evento di carattere internazionale che dia
visibilità al loro lavoro
4. Coinvolgere attivamente sia le famiglie locali che il
pubblico della manifestazione.
Le famiglie potranno ospitare gli stendardi al di fuori
delle loro finestre e balconi richiamando un antica
tradizione locale in occasione delle feste popolari. Il
pubblico della manifestazione sarà, invece, attivamente
coinvolto nella votazione delle opere e il suo verdetto
determinerà il giudizio finale del concorso.
5. Raccogliere un archivio di immagini digitali relative al
tema di Arte/musica create da artisti da tutto il mondo che
potranno essere utilizzate per la futura promozione del
festival come materiale di supporto grafico e iconografico.


COME PARTECIPARE:
Per gli artisti membri di Call For Art, la partecipazione al
concorso è gratuita.
Per tutti gli altri artisti non membri, la partecipazione al
concorso prevede il pagamento di una quota di iscrizione di
Euro 15,00 ( netti, spese di trasferimento a carico del
partecipante) a copertura delle spese di gestione.

immagine fosse selezionata per la stampa.

Per l'invio dell'immagine on line, il file dovrà,
invece, essere ridotto con le seguenti caratteristiche:

PROCEDURA DI UPLOAD:
Gli artisti membri di Call For Art potranno procedere
immediatamente all'upload della loro immagine. E'

"PARTECIPA" , poi su"UPLOAD DELLA TUA IMMAGINE" e
inserire i propri codici di accesso al sito.

Gli artisti non membri dovranno effettuare il pagamento
della quota di iscrizione di Euro 15,00 prima di poter
procedere con l'upload della loro immagine. Dettagli sul

A seguito dell'avvenuto pagamento, saranno rilasciati via

DIRITTI DI PUBBLICAZIONE
Tutti i partecipanti al concorso concordano nel cedere i
diritti di utilizzo e di pubblicazione delle loro immagini
in caso queste fossero selezionate tra le 20 prescelte per
la stampa, fermo restando la menzione del nome dell'autore
e la proprietà intellettuale dell'opera.
